Division

Alfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Care Group, these services include cleaning services, car parking and fleet management, waste management, gardens and grounds, distribution, security and access control, ward support, linen services, ancillary services, food services and hospitality. 

About the role

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Roster Coordinator to help ensure our 800 Support Services staff across The Alfred, Caulfield Hospital, Sandringham Hospital and five satellite sites are rostered efficiently

We’re seeking a motivated, detail driven individual with rostering experience to join our Support Services team as a team leader.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoys problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain rosters for Support Services staff across all sites
  • Manage staff scheduling, shift allocation, and daily roster adjustments
  • Support leave management and ensure adequate staffing coverage
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes for new staff
  • Work collaboratively with managers to meet operational and workforce needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Rostering experience (healthcare or large workforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • A collaborative, supportive approach to team and stakeholder engagement
