About the role
The Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO), Alfred Care Group, is primarily responsible for day-to-day operational management of across acute, sub-acute, community and ambulatory clinical services. The DCOO working in close partnership with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for delivery of key performance targets and financial results. The DCOO will also be responsible for overseeing strategic programs of work or priority operational areas as requested by the COO
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Demonstrated success in managing large and complex organisation in the health sector.
- Established a comprehensive understanding of complex and specialist health services and service delivery objectives.
- A record of achievement in delivering services in accordance with the stated performance objectives.
- Capacity to work with varied stakeholders including consumers, patients, clinical and non-clinical staff, government and the community to ensure the continued delivery of safe and high-quality services.
- Experience in managing and meeting financial and performance targets
