About us

St Kilda Road Clinic (SKRC) is the (Adult & Older Adult) Community Mental Health Service delivery site for Alfred Mental and Addiction Health, servicing the Port Phillip, Stonnington and Glen Eira Local Government areas, as well as the Southbank part of the City of Melbourne. St Kilda Road Clinic operates a 5-day a week (8.30am – 5.00pm) on-site clinical service, providing client-focused interventions with an emphasis on assessment, treatment, recovery and support for people with major psychiatric conditions. This is achieved through both centre based and outreach activities undertaken by a number of site based clinical teams, including: the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT/CCT), Homeless Outreach Psychiatry Service (HOPS), Mobile Support Treatment Service (MSTS), Physical Health Hub, Mobile Aged Psychiatry Service (MAPS) and the Navigations Service comprising; Brief Intervention Team, Transitions Team and the Community Intake Service (CIS). Southcity Clinic Addiction Medicine service is also located at St Kilda Road Clinic.

About the role

All administrative positions assist in the day-to-day non-clinical duties that enable clinical assessment processes to be conducted in a supported, co-ordinated and functional structure across St Kilda Road Clinic and Southcity Clinic. Individual administrative positions may be allocated specific areas of responsibility within the broader administration structure. This position will provide reception and administrative support to both St Kilda Rd Clinic and South City Clinic. While this position is based at the St Kilda Road Clinic, you may be required to work at any clinic of Alfred Mental and Addiction Health services

About you

  • Year 12 and / or relevant work experience
  • Experience in mental health, substance use/addiction or medical services will be viewed favourably.
  • All training will be provided along with ongoing support
