We have a great opportunity for an experienced full time, 1 EFT Administrative Officer, HS2, in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at The Alfred, in our Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Service.Position Summary:
We have a great opportunity for an experienced PA/Administration Support in our Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Service. This role includes PA duties to the Head of Service and one other respiratory physician, administrative support for clinics including patient appointments and general admin duties to contribute to the overall efficiency of the Service. This position supports our Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Service, ensuring that our outpatient clinics are well prepared and efficiently run. Duties include clinic preparation, collation of patient results, checking patients in, making follow up appointments and supporting our nursing and medical staff as required.Experience and Qualifications Required: Demonstrated experience as a Personal Assistant is essential as are strong organisational, customer service and computer skills. Strong customer service skills and problem solving skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment. Excellence in written and oral communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail is also required. Experience working within a medical environment and familiarity with medical terminology will be highly regarded, however, applicants with strong administrative skills from other fields will also be considered.
