The Department

Alfred Hospital's Radiology Department is one of Melbourne’s leading tertiary teaching and trauma hospitals. Alfred Radiology Department values education and professional development and utilises modern technologies across all modalities to imaging challenging patients 

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic sonographer to join a dynamic team environment at one of Victoria's premiar tertiary teaching hospitals. With a strong focus on training and education, the successful applicant will be able to provide high-quality patient-centric care across a range of examinations, including breast, MSK, general, small parts, gynaecology, vascular and transplant imaging. Successful applicants will be able to supplement their wage with on call work on a rotating roster.  Staff will be rotated through Inpatients, Outpatients, and Emergency to allow the broadest range of experience.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Sonography or equivalent
  • Registration with ASAR to practice as a Sonographer
  • Evidence of CPD in line with registration requirements.
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Willing to join on-call ultrasound roster
