  • Fixed-term contract, parental leave cover until June 2027.
  • 0.6EFT/48hours - three days per week.
  • Clinical Psychology Educator – Grade 4.
  • Based at The Alfred in Prahran, with one day remote working per week.

About Us:

Our Psychology Educators work within the Alfred Care Group Psychology Education Team, led by the Principal Psychology Educator. Established in 2023, our team’s mission is to educate and support our colleagues in a way that inspires excellence.

We are a passionate team of experienced Psychology Educators, committed to supporting the psychology workforce and strengthening psychological practice across Alfred Care Group. Working across Alfred Care Group sites, we collaboratively develop, facilitate, and evaluate a broad range of professional development programs for psychologists and other clinical staff.

About the Role:

  • You will be supported to develop and extend your clinical education and supervision skills within a friendly, supportive, and collaborative team of experienced Psychology Educators.
  • You will lead education programs, develop and facilitate workshops, collaborate with other educators, and supervise psychologists (P2 and P3) across a diverse range of settings. See PD for further information.

About You:

  • You’re an experienced Clinical Psychologist Grade 3 or Grade 4.
  • Formal education experience is not required - just a passion for developing others and a desire to grow your skills within a supportive team environment.
  • You’re energised by helping others grow, elevating psychological practice, and you enjoy sharing what you know.
  • You’re familiar with reflective practice and competency-based approaches to supervision.
  • You’re reflective, committed to ongoing learning, and passionate about keeping up to date with latest research and best-practice frameworks.
  • You have strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
