About the Role
Bayside Health Alfred Care Group is looking for a Diagnostic Radiologist to join the team commencing 2nd November 2026, for the position of 0.5 Full-Time Equivalent (2 days per week, 9.5 hours per day).
The successful applicant will have demonstrated expertise in thoracic imaging and image-guided thoracic interventions, with the capability to provide high-quality specialist care across a complex tertiary caseload. The position would include participation in an on-call roster. Any staff interested in increasing their current fractional appointment can also apply. Qualifications and Skills Required:
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:
- Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice
- Hold fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR)
- Appointees must be able to report across multiple modalities of clinical cases managed at a tertiary academic centre
- Applicants must meet Alfred Care Group requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Radiology
- The successful applicant will be required to provide excellent clinical expertise in diagnostic radiology, to support Bayside Health's teaching, research and clinical governance programs, and to support the strategic priorities and values of Bayside Health
