About us
Alfred Mental & Addiction Health (AMAH) is responsible for the operation of services, which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.
The single most important goal of AMAH is to create an environment that facilitates clinical recovery, supports individual recovery efforts and strives to minimise service system barriers to the recovery process.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting operationally to the Deputy Director of Allied Health with a professional reporting line to the Manager Workforce, you will be responsible for the organisation and co-ordination of the graduate and student program. You will work closely with the OT educators to ensure a comprehensive and supportive early in career program for new graduates entering the mental health workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for the organisation and provision of a training program that aligns with the Mental Health Workforce Capability Framework and Discipline competencies. Additionally, you will assist with the organisation and co-ordination of the student program through administration, providing orientation and training and developing resources to assist students and supervisors.
About you
- Approved tertiary qualifications and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA
- Minimum of seven years’ post graduate clinical experience
- Post graduate qualifications or working towards post-graduate qualifications
- Australian working rights
- Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
