The role

Applications are invited for Specialists in Anaesthesiology to provide excellent clinical care and service in the Alfred Health Department of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.   

Both Fractional and Fulltime positions (cardiac and non-cardiac) are available and can be discussed. Please outline your preferences in your covering letter.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and hold Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
  • Demonstrate relevant contemporary knowledge and experience in Anaesthesia
  • Meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Anaesthesia, with specific scope of practice in Cardiac Anaesthesia.
  • Appropriate experience and skills to be able to provide anaesthetic services at Sandringham Hospital

Successful applicants will be expected to work in a variety of clinical situations, and across multiple campuses of Alfred Health, including The Alfred and Sandringham Hospital.
