We are seeking motivated women ready to start their career in the Carpentry trade and keen to work on major Tier 1 construction projects across Melbourne. Our host employer is a well‑known cladding company delivering multiple high‑end commercial projects, including works under Victoria’s Big Build program.

Successful candidates will commence their journey through the Lendlease Tradie Bootcamp — a two‑week pre‑employment, job‑readiness program designed to prepare female apprentices for success on commercial construction sites.

Upon successful completion of the Tradie Bootcamp, apprentices will be placed on major projects in Melton, including (but not limited to) Point Cook Hospital and Melton Hospital, with opportunities to move across metropolitan Melbourne sites as projects progress. In addition to on‑site work, there will be elements of factory‑based work at the Tullamarine workshop, preparing cladding materials for installation.

About the Program:

This apprenticeship forms part of the Lendlease Tradie Bootcamp, a two‑week job‑readiness program.

Completion of Tradie Bootcamp is mandatory prior to commencing employment and is designed to set participants up for success in commercial construction environments.

What You’ll Need:

  • Completed Certificate II in Building & Construction or relevant carpentry / trade assistant experience
  • Valid Construction White Card
  • Driver’s licence and reliable transport (automatic licence accepted)
  • Commitment to completing a full carpentry apprenticeship
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
