As an Education Support Trainee, you will work alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment for students with diverse learning needs, disabilities, or developmental challenges
Please Note: Individuals with a Certificate III or higher in Education Support are ineligible for this role.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Assisting classroom teachers with lesson delivery and educational activities.
- Providing direct emotional, and practical support to students.
- Nurturing student independence, social skills, and classroom engagement.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Individuals who are passionate about working with children and making a difference.
- Patient, empathetic communicators who remain calm under pressure.
- No prior experience is required! Previous experience working with children or children with disaibilities would be highly regarded.
- Note: The successful candidate must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Applicants will travel to Deer Park through the school holidays to complete the theory coponent of this position.
Applicants must be available to complete a 2-day voluntary trial as part of the recruitment process. This trial allows you to decide if you want to commit to the position for 12 months, while giving the teaching staff an opportunity to see how you interact with students and colleagues.
