About the role

AGA has partnered with a Major Engineering and Asset Maintenance business servicing the oil, gas and mining industry to offer this exciting opportunity and with over 95 years of combined engineering experience between the team, you will be learning from the best.

Based in Wurruk and working flexible hours (25–38 hrs pw) from Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will complete a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping while gaining hands on experience as a Business and Finance Trainee.

In this role, you play an important role in the front office — greeting clients, managing calls and emails, and assisting with general administrative and bookkeeping tasks. This is a hands-on learning role where you will gain valuable office, finance, and customer service skills that can take your career in many directions.

What you will be doing

• Welcoming clients and managing reception duties
• Handling phone calls, emails, and enquiries
• Assisting with data entry, filing, and record keeping
• Supporting accounts and bookkeeping tasks
• Learning practical business and finance processes while you study
