Automotive Apprenticeship Opportunities

About the role

AGA is currently recruiting for multiple dealerships in Essendon, Richmond, Pakenham and South Yarra and we are looking for apprentices wanting to either kick start their career or are looking for a new and exciting opportunity to learn new skills.

These roles are predominantly located within prestigious dealerships working under the supervision of highly experienced team members; therefore, we are only looking for passionate and dedicated apprentices.

You will work a fulltime roster while studying for a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical and will be provided with the skills and experience to excel within the Automotive industry.

What you will be doing

• Service and repair motor vehicles
• Learn all aspects of being a motor mechanic
• Complete daily paperwork (repair orders etc.)
• Participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Complete other tasks as directed

What we are looking for

• Mechanically minded and passionate about working within the industry long term
• Reliability, punctuality and hardworking
• Team players with great communication skills
• Completion of a Cert II in Automotive Technology
• Hold a valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Has the ability to confidently use hand tools
• Is an Australian citizen/and or Permanent Resident
