The role is Monday - Friday 38 hours a week.

Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful trainee as well as providing on the job training for 4 years. About you:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to follow instructions from skilled mechanics and technicians as well as use initiative
  • Holds a driver's licence and vehicle
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Willing to attend RTO/TAFE training

What you will do:

  • Learn from skilled technicians, participating in repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in heavy commercial vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections for optimal vehicle condition.
  • Gain hands-on experience in repairing mechanical and electrical components.
  • Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Document work with detailed records of repairs and procedures.
  • Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with automotive technology.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to deliver high-quality service.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with clients.
  • Adapt to new technologies and advancements in the industry.
