Certificate III Horticulture Trainee

AGA Group Training is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Certificate III Horticulture Trainee to start a rewarding career in the horticulture industry. If you enjoy working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll earn while you learn, gain hands-on experience, and work towards a nationally recognised qualification with guidance from experienced industry professionals. As a Group Training Organisation (GTO), AGA Group Training will be there to support you throughout your traineeship with regular mentoring, check-ins, and encouragement every step of the way.

About the Role:

  • Assist with general garden and landscape maintenance
  • Learn plant care, pruning, mulching, watering, and weed control techniques
  • Use and maintain horticultural tools and equipment safely
  • Support planting, soil preparation, and site presentation activities
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
  •  Work as part of a team while building practical industry skills

What we are looking for?

  • A genuine interest in horticulture and working outdoors
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
  • Driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred, but not essential for all applicants
  • Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Horticulture
