Electrical Apprentice Wanted – Workshop-Based Role with AGA

AGA is on the lookout for a 2nd or 3rd year electrical apprentice to join the team in a hands-on, workshop-based role. First year apprentices will also be considered if they have the right attitude and are keen to learn.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical electrical work and wants to get more exposure to control panels, control wiring, testing, fault finding, and workshop-based electrical tasks. The role is more focused on controls and panel work rather than general site-based electrical work.

About the Role

  •  Workshop-based electrical apprentice role
  •  Working on control panels, control wiring, testing, and related electrical tasks
  • More time in the workshop and less time on general site-based electrical work
  •  Good opportunity to build skills in a specialised area of the electrical trade
  • Ideally suited to a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice, although 1st years will be considered

 About You

  • Already signed up as an electrical apprentice, preferably 2nd or 3rd year
  • Interested in controls, automation, panels, and workshop electrical work
  • Good with detail and willing to ask questions
  • Reliable, switched on, and safety-minded
  • Happy to work with the team and get stuck into practical tasks

 What We Offer

  • A practical workshop-based role with a strong trade focus
  • Hands-on experience with control wiring, panels, and fault-finding tasks
  • Support from experienced tradespeople
  • A chance to develop solid skills in a specialised part of the electrical industry
  • Employment through a GTO arrangement, with mentoring and day-to-day support provided by AGA
