An apprenticeship is a fantastic way to enter the workforce and gain the entry level experience you need to grow, and pursue a career as a trades person. Our client is based in Tatura Victoria and is offering an Apprenticeship in Engineering Fabrication.

Are you:

  • Physically fit?
  • Good at mathematics & English?
  • Passionate about working in the Engineering field?

The details:

  • AGA would employ you for the duration of the four-year apprenticeship.
  • Full time hours – Monday to Friday.
  • Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays for the year and one RDO per month.
  • Theory training conducted by GoTafe in one-week blocks.
  • Mentoring and support provided throughout the apprenticeship.
  • Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth.

The role encompasses learning and being involved in the following tasks:

  • Sheet metal work.
  • Structural steel work.
  • General welding and grinding
  • Workshop cleaning and maintenance;
  • The completion of all theory aspects of the qualification.
  • Safe work environment and practices

Wage:

  • National Apprenticeship Wage applies.

Desirable criteria:

  • A Certificate II in Engineering or related experience.

Essential criteria:

  • Drivers license
  • Strong work Ethic
  • Reliable
