Moorabool Shire Council is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Statutory Planning and Regulatory Services Trainee, supporting both the Building Services and Community Health and Safety service units.
About the Role
This is a full-time, 12-month traineeship combines practical experience with a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business Administration. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll gain skills in customer service, administration, and planning support. The role will also provide you with the foundation knowledge of planning and building legislation, including the regulatory and enforcement frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with administrative processes and document preparation
· Support customer service and respond to enquiries
· Prepare draft reports, notices and correspondence
· Collaborate with internal departments and liaise with residents and stakeholders

· Strong communication and time management skills
