About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to join our team, the Business Development Officer will work on account management services including Business Development & management of sales pipeline. This involves generating placements with new & existing hosts with a view to provide exceptional customer service and ensuring that retention rates are minimised.

Identifying business needs of hosts and providing advice of the AGA services & products that can accommodate their needs will ensure success in this role. The position will also support and assist other departments as required to achieve overall company goals

Please note: This role requires travel and will come with a fully maintained company’s car.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation & prospecting, Sales pipeline management (CRM systems)
  • Assist with recruitment activities within the GTO to meet client needs and contribute to consistent increases in commencement numbers.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients to ensure high-level customer satisfaction
  • Understanding business goals and set plans to achieve, ability to attend after hours events to promote AGA AES services
  • Develop and maintain a strong ability to articulate and communicate the value of the GTO to new and existing clients
  • Networking ability and working in collaboration

 

You’ll ideally bring:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ of experience in Business development in apprenticeship services
  • Experience in planning, developing and managing mentoring programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Experience in or qualifications across business administration, marketing and or management and commerce & Finance
  • Ability to meet set targets and KPIs

Essential:

  • National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and valid Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain)
