1st Year Automotive Apprentice – Bairnsdale Area
AGA is seeking a motivated and reliable 1st Year Automotive Apprentice to commence with a respected host employer in the Bairnsdale area. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in the automotive industry while being employed and supported under AGA’s Group Training Organisation framework.
You will gain hands-on experience in a professional workshop environment, working alongside experienced tradespeople while completing your nationally recognised automotive qualification. AGA will provide ongoing mentoring, support, and guidance throughout your apprenticeship to help you build the skills and confidence needed for a successful trade career.
About the role
· Assist qualified automotive technicians with servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and general workshop duties.
· Develop practical skills across a range of vehicle systems and workshop processes.
· Attend scheduled trade training as part of your apprenticeship requirements.
· Work safely, professionally, and reliably in a busy automotive environment.
· Receive ongoing support from AGA and the host employer throughout your training.
About you
· Genuine interest in cars, mechanical work, and the automotive industry.
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
· Committed to completing an automotive apprenticeship.
· Ability to work well in a team and maintain a professional approach.
1st year applicants are encouraged to apply. Current 2nd and 3rd year automotive apprentices will also be considered.
