Are you an experienced trainer ready to inspire the next generation? We’re looking for passionate educators to deliver the 22614VIC - Certificate II in Building and Construction (Pre-apprenticeship – Carpentry) to senior secondary students (Years 10–12) across a network of partner schools in Melbourne’s south-east and beyond.

This is more than just teaching, it’s about building confidence, trade skills and life-readiness in young people at a pivotal time in their lives.


What you’ll do

  • Deliver practical, hands-on carpentry training aligned to the 22614VIC Certificate II program
  • Work with students in Years 10–12 enrolled in VETDSS, VCE Vocational Major, or VPC programs
  • Foster safe, engaging, real-world learning environments — in classrooms and workshops
  • Travel between a small group of schools
  • Collaborate with a supportive, passionate training team


What you’ll bring

  • Trade qualification in Carpentry or Building & Construction
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or nearing completion
  • Experience teaching in VET, TAFE, or senior secondary settings (preferred)
  • Strong communication, engagement and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed in life and work
  • Working with Children Check
