About the role:

AGA is on the lookout for a motivated candidate in completing their 4-Year Plumbing Apprenticeship, as a result to familiarising of aspects of the trade and becoming qualified in the role!

This full-time position offers 38 hours of weekly hands-on learning and skill development in the dynamic field of Plumbing including one day a week at trade school.

Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful apprentice as well as providing on the job training for 4 years. About you:

  • Ideally has completed a Certificate II in Plumbing
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a team
  • Willing to attend accredited RTO/TAFE
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Capable of following instructions from mentors, staff members and clients
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Holds a driver's licence

What you will do:

  • On-site job shadowing.
  • Basic repairs and maintenance: perform basic repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems. This includes fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing worn parts.
  • Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: learn how to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams. Crucial for installing plumbing systems correctly.
  • Assisting with Installations of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing materials.
