Employment Support Coach
Due to growth, we have new and exciting opportunities for an Employment Support Coach to join our team to service the NE Melbourne region.
About the Role
As an Employment Support Coach, you will support our Transition to Work Clients to achieve sustainable and fulfilling employment. Develop partnerships with larger employers for volume recruitment opportunities, with the aim of placing people into sustainable employment with local employers. An understanding of the local labour market, and the resourcing needs and constraints of employers in order to devise effective solutions.
With a fully maintained company vehicle, this role embraces a unique and hybrid working model where you will work both in the field and office visiting clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Have experience in Employment Services or Recruitment sector
- Previous experience in a similar role or at a similar level and a desire to support young people into sustainable employment opportunities
- Maintain a strong commitment to a safe workplace, with a desire to influence work practices which promote an increased level of health and wellbeing
- Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with employers as well the requisite skills to build rapport and relationships with a diverse range of organisational stakeholders
- A high level of personal organisation and flexibility; a strong desire to undertake and lead new business development initiatives on behalf of the organisation
- Meet key performance indicators by converting sales leads into sustainable placements.
- Engage with employers to fully understand their hiring requirements, recruitment cycles and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, both face to face and over the phone, to understand their placement potential and the actions needed to have them to be job ready.
- Ensure service delivery activities comply with all requirements of contractual deed and guidelines and with organisational policies.
- Provide post placement support to employers.
- Prioritise day to day activities to ensure results achieved whilst demonstrating empathy with customers.
- Effectively plan your day as part of a remote team servicing many locations.

Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and build rapport
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio-economic backgrounds
- Have a current drivers licence
- Be results and target driven
- Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environment
