The role
An opportunity exists for an outgoing and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our National Contracting and Engineering Services team. The position will be based at our Stapylton facility and will report to the Queensland State Manager - Contracting Services.
This is a diverse role combining office-based engineering design with on-site project supervision. As a member of our business, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and expertise to deliver engineered designs and provide construction oversight for our range of retaining wall and pavement projects.

This position is located in Stapylton, QLD, with responsibilities that include travel across Queensland and to other states as needed.
Responsibilities
- Work with the local Contracting team to design & manage retaining wall and paving projects
- Provide technical support and engineering designs for the Queensland Contracting Services team
- Provide technical support to the Queensland sales team and their customers
- Assist with drafting, estimating and project documentation as needed
- Promote masonry products across projects and client solutions
- Drive continuous improvement across products and processes
What you will need to succeed
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Structural or Geotechnical)
- Graduate or up to 3 years’ relevant engineering experience
- RPEQ / CPEng status preferred but not essential, willing to attain
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and with customers
- Able to work independently and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety standards
- Sales experience, or a willingness to be involved in the sales process
