As an SFBP, you'll be instrumental in providing strategic financial advice to our executive team, general managers, and their teams. Your insights will be crucial in aligning our financial resources with our strategic objectives, ensuring that Aruma continues to thrive as a purpose-driven organisation.

Working closely with operational partners and fellow finance team members, you'll provide enterprise-wide insights to enhance decision-making and drive financial performance. Your role will be vital in fostering continuous improvement and delivering integrated insights across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide insightful business advice on financial performance to the executive team and general managers.

About you

  • Degree level accounting qualification.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • MBA level business management qualification is desirable.
  • Minimum of five (5) years senior experience in financial planning and analysis, or a similar field.
  • Proven track record in similar roles in substantial multi-site and multi-departmental organisations (turnover $150m+).
  • Exposure at a senior level to financial challenges and opportunities in dynamic high transactional volume, multi-site, low margin businesses.
  • Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem-solving skills using a variety of data sources.
  • Strong business intelligence experience (Power BI or similar) and sound knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms.
  • Proven expertise in driving continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and controls.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong experience in managing large data sets from multiple sources, including data mapping. Working knowledge of VBA and SQL would be an advantage for planning modelling and reviewing projects.
  • Skilled at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence rather than direct authority as required.
  • Project and time management skills with the ability to conceive, construct, prioritise, and deliver outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Business acumen/commercial mindset with a proven commitment to achieving successful commercial outcomes, including the creative ability to identify worthwhile commercial opportunities and outcomes.
