The Opportunity

Due to the ongoing success of our industry leading Geo-environmental Engineering team we have a new exciting opportunity for a Junior Civil Designer to join our team in our dynamic Melbourne office. You will be working across the civil, infrastructure and resource sectors developing and delivering innovative engineered environmental solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to be mentored in a top-tier environment.

What you will do

  • Undertake the delivery of innovative design solutions related to three-dimensional modelling on a range of resource, waste and infrastructure sector projects;
  • Support an industry leading design team to develop detailed engineering models, drawings, figures, bills of quantities and schematics (concept to detailed design and construction issue);
  • Combine various details from sketches, and drawings and making required calculations

 

What we will love about you

  • Relevant tertiary education (Certificate, Diploma and/or Degree) related to civil design
  • Drafting experience transferrable to AutoCAD is desirable but not essential
  • 3D modelling experience transferrable to AutoCAD Civil 3D would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent ability to analyse, interpret and communicate information.
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make decisions within established guidelines
