What You’ll Do
As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer (wet and dry fire designs), you will:
- Build, lead, and develop a passionate Fire Protection team aligned with your vision.
- Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary building services projects across various sectors.
- Provide fire protection design expertise, ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Deliver high-quality engineering design and documentation that saves time and cost for clients.
- Take the lead on small to medium-sized projects and support larger initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Build strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the strategic growth of the team.
About You
- Bachelor of Engineering (e.g., Mechanical) or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in fire protection engineering within Australian building services.
- Strong knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS, NCC, etc.).
- Experience with BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit MEP is highly desirable.
- Consulting engineering background preferred; D&C contracting experience also considered.
- Passion for leadership and a desire to build and own a high-performing team.
