WSP Digital is the Software Engineering division of WSP. We are global innovators and leaders in the integrated development and use of software to enhance our customer’s engineering, infrastructure, building, and environmental projects.

Due to the continued success of our Asia Pacific operations, we are looking for a Senior 3D Visualisation Specialist to join our growing and diverse team in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.

You will work collaboratively with the team to bid, win, design and deliver unique and innovative 3D modelling, interactive and Virtual Reality solutions for your clients.

Day to day you will:

  • Own all aspects of the interactive pipeline
  •  Visualise design concepts with the Engineering teams and clients to clearly communicate your ideas and thinking
  • Use of real-time engines such as Unreal or Unity
  • Design visualisation materials such as models to enable real-world-scale construction design review as well as operational walk-throughs and community consultation (e.g. impact to the environment and community, safety requirements for workers, comparison of design options, etc.)
  • Engage with client and undertaking business development activities
  • Project manage your own workflow to achieve exceptional outcomes on time/budget
  • Drive yourself to learn and grow by keeping ahead of the latest developments and technologies

This is an amazing opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects across Australia, and positively impact the lives of the communities. You will also have the chance to work with some of the brightest subject matter experts in the fields of engineering, climate change and resilience, urban and regional planning and more.

Some of the key projects we’ve recently completed:

  • Newcastle Light Rail – to support the community engagement effort, we developed a project-wide model and a range of visualisation content; including traditional fly-through, still imagery, interactive and virtual reality (VR)
  • Bruce Highway Maroochydore Road Interchange – we created a digital replica of the project and develop an interactive VR experience and driving simulator https://bit.ly/3r2qzFE
