The role
Adbri is offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Quarry Worker to join our team at the Tinda Creek quarry in Mellong.
In this full-time, permanent role, you'll operate a range of mobile and fixed plant equipment including front-end loaders, excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, and more. Experience with fixed plant is ideal, but if you're eager to learn, we’re ready to train you!
Enjoy the stability of Monday to Friday day shifts, with occasional Saturdays. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, receive on-the-job training, and build a long-term career in a secure and growing industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
- Operate mobile and fixed plant
- Undertake housekeeping, basic maintenance and general labour duties
- Report Incidents/hazards to the supervisor
What you will need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in operating mobile plant and/or heavy equipment (preferred)
- Current driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Strong mechanical aptitude (preferred)
- Strong commitment to health and safety
