As the visionary, results-oriented Managing Director – HR & Workplace, you will lead and grow the Source HR, Employment & Safety Legal offering from a strategic, commercial and growth perspective, across Australia and New Zealand. As an Executive on the Source Executive Committee, you will inspire, lead and develop the professionals in HR & Workplace team, alongside our Managing Directors (for Governance Risk & Compliance, Commercial Legal & IP, and Projects).

What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for the strategic, commercial and operational success of the Human Resources, and Employment & Safety Legal, including:
- Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute Source Workplace & HR business strategy aligned with the overall strategy and long-term objectives.
- Operational Excellence - Leading the Workplace & HR business vertical with a focus on continuous improvement and optimisation of systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Team Development & Building - Responsible for leading and building a high-performing team.
- Business Development - Develop & execute client growth strategy for Workplace & HR, to identify growth opportunities across the Group and in market, build strategic partnerships, and lead key negotiations to accelerate market penetration.
- Financial Management - Accountable for the financial performance, budgeting, and profitability targets, for Workplace & HR.
- Brand Representation - Primary spokesperson for Workplace & HR business vertical, maintaining and developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders; key clients; and marketing / branding contacts and channels in market.
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure operational compliance and effective risk management.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred, however not essential.
- Proven experience operating as a Managing Director or Senior Executive.
- Strong experience scaling operations, in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Deep knowledge of the commercial landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
- A strong people leader, with operational management experience and proven ability to improve efficiencies in a high growth environment.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L responsibilities, including financial analysis and pricing expertise.
- Ability to utilise leadership and collaboration skills, to drive business performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Capable of making commercial business decisions in a manner that aligns with broader business objectives
