You’ll have the option to work in one of the following roles, depending on your preference, availability and experience:
Hotel: Heartland Hotel Haast
Location: Haast, West Coast
Employment Type: Fixed-Term, October 2026 - April 2027
Minimum Guaranteed Hours Available: 30 hours per week guaranteed
Rate per hour: $26.50
Food & Beverage:
- Take orders, serve food and drinks
- Keep service areas clean and organised
Housekeeping (Room Attendant):
- Clean and prepare guest rooms
- Ensure rooms are fresh, tidy and ready for new arrivals
Porter:
- Assist guests with luggage
- Share local tips and help guests settle in
Kitchen Assistant:
- Help with basic food preparation
- Keep the kitchen clean and running smoothly
Gardens & Grounds:
- Maintain outdoor areas
- Keep gardens looking tidy and welcoming
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- At least 1 year experience in similar environment desired
- Good communication to work with the team and guests.
