About the role:

As an estimator, you will work with a tightknit team of estimators, pricing analysist and bid writers who are responsible for pricing and preparing quotes and tender responses across both the projects and maintenance areas of the business.

On the project side you will be attending onsite scoping visits and collaborating with our project teams to assess delivery strategies, preparing cost breakdowns and work methodologies. Present pricing to senior leadership for approval and supporting project handovers, your work will help ensure accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction every step of the way.

On the maintenance side you will work with managers across different disciplines preparing cost breakdowns and work methodologies for long term maintenance across both greenspace and building services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates including materials, labour, time requirements and visit frequency

• Conducting quantity take-offs and site inspections

• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to gather competitive pricing

• Present proposals to the senior leadership team, outlining scope, methodology, risks and competitor insights

• Ensure all quotes meet client KPI's for timeframes

• Support operations during handover and maintaining quote tracking

• Help refine pricing strategies to grow our market share

What we're looking for:

• 3-5 years of estimating experience in related field (commercial construction or facilities management), ideally coupled with your post graduate qualification

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills

• Proven ability to work under pressure meeting timelines without compromising quality

• Familiarity with ISO standards and modern estimating tools

• Familiarity with building methodologies/practices

• On-site experience an advantage
