Security Clearance Required for this role:
- Must have a Current NV2 and PV cleared resources with current OSA or previously help OSA.
Join a mission-focused, multi-disciplinary team delivering a complex, high-profile project. You’ll work closely with the Chief Engineer and infrastructure squads, integrating third-party software and hardware to create a next-generation data centre environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement software components as part of an Infrastructure-as-Code initiative.
- Integrate multiple third-party infrastructure products into a cohesive software-defined environment.
- Participate in architectural design sessions, code reviews, and test plan execution.
- Develop software using test-driven development and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
- Produce and maintain clear technical and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex development challenges and contribute to continuous process improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of Python programming experience.
- Hands-on Ansible experience, including module extensions.
- Network device management and debugging expertise.
- Familiarity with test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes.
- Exposure to software-defined infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document complex technical processes.
- Eagerness to learn the latest networking technologies and solve challenging technical problems.
Desirable Extras:
- Agile team experience and Ansible Network Device Automation.
- Full-stack development or cloud experience (AWS preferred).
- Experience in government secure environments, network monitoring, or security platforms.
