Our client, a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection has an immediate need for a Training Administrator . This is a contract position for six (6) months. This role will be located in Key Lake, Saskatchewan (fly in/fly out camp). Candidates will need to commute to Saskatoon to catch charter flight.

  • Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodations provided
  • Rotation (2 weeks in - 2 weeks out, 11 hours a day)
  • Company Charter Flights provided - Departing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for supporting the training function of the site employees and contractors both on and offsite.
  • Maintain and archive training records and associated documentation
  • Assist in site internal or external audits
  • Resolve any qualification, scheduling, or record issues within ’s training program
  • Advise and provide training to site supervisors and employees on the various training department processes
  • Generate training deficiency and qualification reports for operational departments, their supervisors and management on a monthly basis while ensuring accuracy of these reports, resolve errors and address any abnormal situations with the records
  • Facilitate offsite training, facilitate on site webinars and MS Teams training sessions and support the training design and development process at the site
  • Assist the site training resources in preparing training documentation, finalize training documents, and manage and update those documents within the site management document system
  • Provide organizational support, provide software support to trainers, implement new work practices as required and most importantly develop a positive relationship with contractors and on site personnel. with excellent office skills and who can pick up new programs quickly.  

Required 

  • Business Administration Certification/Diploma required or related discipline
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Full working knowledge of MS Office suite is required including MS Teams and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Assets:
  • Experience with Training Administration
  • Electronic trouble shooting skills

Additional information

  • Key Lake, Saskatchewan (fly in/fly out camp)
  • Some remote work from home may be required
  • Monday to Thursday, 11 hour work days, 40 hours/week (note Monday and Thursday are less than 11 hour days due to flight schedules)
