Our client, one of the largest financial industry clients in Canada, has an immediate need for a Design Researcher in Toronto, ON (Temporary Remote).

What are the main responsibilities of the role?

• Conducting generative and evaluative research.

• Representing the voice and needs of our users.

• Managing multiple research activities by effectively prioritizing, and communicating those priorities and their implications to peers, partners and stakeholders.

• Proactively identifying opportunities for research to inform product strategy and design decisions, and creating alignment around those opportunities and results.

• Cultivating strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Looking for:

  • Intermediate level experience
  • Manage multiple research strategies, design decisions, processing, strong working relationship with wide range of stake holders

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in research (Deep Research)
  • Experience with design research tools like Figma
  • Experience with design research methodologies 


 Additional Information

  • Effective Nov 1st, 2021, all employees and non-employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (2 doses required). Client requires proof of Covid-19 vaccination to access job site. Providing proof of vaccination is a condition of employment with Ian Martin for this role
  • The resource can work from home to start but will be required to work onsite in Toronto at least 2 days per week once covid worksite restrictions lifted
