As a Learning Manager at Bayer, you'll have the opportunity to:

  •  Collaborate with brand squads, and Head of Sales to identify future capability requirements of the sales and medical organization.
  • Define an annual learning strategy to elevate the capabilities of our field-based teams across all portfolios.
  • Create and deliver engaging adult learning programs that address our teams' learning needs, leveraging global and local content.
  • Foster a learning culture where everyone takes ownership of their personal growth and development.
  • Champion strategic learning initiatives that empower our field teams to excel in their roles.
  • Work alongside global and APAC learning teams to optimize the use of the Bayer Capability Framework.
  • Proactively identify and address capability gaps, ensuring our teams stay ahead of the curve.
  • Embrace digital and online technologies to enhance learning and development experiences.
  • Implement systematic and quantitative methods to measure learning outcomes effectively.
  • Cultivate relationships with third-party providers for learning solutions and manage vendor partnerships.
  • Be a culture creator, nurturing an environment where innovation, diverse thinking, and high performance thrive. 

Do You Have What It Takes? 

To succeed in this role, you should have: 

  • Previous experience in sales, field-based capability, training, or learning and development.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver impactful classroom and online learning experiences leading to lasting behavior change.
  • A talent for mentoring and empowering high-performing field teams, promoting agility and collaboration.
  • A deep understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
  • A strategic and operational mindset, capable of bringing creativity and innovation to your approach.
  • Strong business partnering skills, allowing you to influence stakeholders across local, regional, and global boundaries.
  • Medicines Australia Code of Conduct certification.
  • An applied understanding of the Australian and New Zealand pharmaceutical landscape.
