For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets. 

About the role

The primary purpose of the Works Ready Coordinator role is to lead, organise and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results. 

Key responsibilities include

  • Plan and oversee field-based activities, relating to time, cost, quality and safety criteria for planned and emergency situations.
  • Manage materials using purchasing system and subcontract services required to complete the work schedule
  • Completion of all reports and job control worksheets
  • Lead and manage the team to ensure organisational goals are achieved
  • Apply conflict resolution techniques to avoid potential escalations of industrial disputes

 About you

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience working across high/low voltage environments and be familiar with industry standard operating policies and procedures for Overhead Electrical distribution systems. This will have seen you accrue knowledge of Overhead construction and Maintenance, generally speaking. To be considered for this role you will hold a Certificate III ESI – Power Systems (or equivalent) and Current Victorian Driver’s licence.

The successful applicant will have the knowledge of safe working practices, OHS&E principles and Australian standards with practical knowledge of legal, financial, quality and risk management concepts and their application to field employees.

Your computer skills to use SAP, Word, Excel and planning packages will be highly regarded
