Project Controller   

Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets. 

About the role 

The Project Controller will be accountable for ensuring the construction project list is up to date and manage the Project Controls function throughout the construction project lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities include.

  • Implementing and maintaining cost controls on projects (including earned value management systems)
  • Supporting development and management of project schedule, costs, budget revisions, schedule revisions, variations, contingency
  • Support the project teams for accurate actual project data collection
  • Supporting management of payment collection from a project management point of view
  • Early identification of risks, issues and opportunities occurs
  • Project performance trends are elevated to Management for review and action
  • Costs to date and cost and schedule forecasting assumptions are timely and accurate
  • Embed Organisational change in particular to a centralised project controls function  
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to key stakeholders

About You

  • Engineering/ construction background preferable
  • Multi-disciplinary experience
  • Project planning using software e.g. Primavera P6. , Microsoft Project
  • Experience of understanding of infrastructure projects
  • Good knowledge of Project management processes
  • Good understanding of key contract terms
  • Knowledge of business processes
  • Good understanding of engineering and construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience in using planning and cost software tools
  • Good understanding of finance systems and forecasting methodologies
