About the role

We are on the lookout for a skilled Transmission Lineworker to join our dynamic Northwest Maintenance Contract Team, operating from our Moorabool depot.

In this pivotal role, you will be the frontline expert maintaining and responding to faults on AusNet’s Transmission Electricity Line Assets. No two days will look the same. You will work across various locations throughout Victoria, managing unique challenges, overnight travel as required, and being available for on‑call work when needed.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
  • Climbing of transmission structures
  • Perform maintenance inspections of electricity transmission networks, ensuring compliance with Client/Company policies, Quality Systems, HSE procedures, and statutory requirements
  • Carry out minor ancillary works as needed

About You

  • Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead
  • Victorian Electrical Transmission Lineworker Licence
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • OHS Construction Induction card (White/Blue card)
  • ESI Worker
  • High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogger)
  • Work at Heights and Rescue certification
  • Provide First Aid, CPR
