About the role

We are seeking to engage a Business Performance Analyst to join our expanding OneDx business unit. This role supports the identification and delivery of operational productivity in our planned maintenance and capital works portfolio through the development and maintenance of high‑quality analytical reports.

Working closely with Operations and Senior Management, the position provides timely, accurate insights to enable informed decision‑making. The role contributes to research and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and plays a critical part in proactive risk identification and management.

Strong planning, analytical and business acumen are essential, along with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to meeting deadlines, targets and reporting requirements with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities include

  • Supporting the development and ongoing management of the Maintenance and Capital Works Program Delivery Plan, including identification of risks, issues, dependencies and delivery strategies.
  • Monitoring and reporting on portfolio and program performance, critical activities and contractual metrics against agreed targets.
  • Establishing and maintaining portfolio governance, risk and contingency frameworks aligned to ISO 31000 and corporate requirements.
  • Developing and managing enterprise‑wide analytics and reporting frameworks to deliver timely, accurate and actionable insights.
  • Providing operational, financial and performance analysis to support data‑driven decision‑making across the business.
  • Ensuring data integrity, reliability and compliance within agreed governance and portfolio tolerances.
  • Supporting resource, cost, budgeting and forecasting analysis to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability.
  • Identifying and implementing process, system and reporting improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness and consistency.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to communicate insights, support audits, close actions and align delivery objectives.

About You

The ideal candidate’s profile will highlight strong analytical and commercial capability, underpinned by a solid understanding of electricity distribution operations or similar industries. It will demonstrate the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, along with intellectual curiosity, adaptability and collaborative leadership to support informed decision‑making and continuous improvement across the business.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering advanced analytics and reporting to support operational, commercial and strategic decision‑making in a complex business environment.
  • Proven experience within electricity distribution or a similar infrastructure‑based industry, with maintenance and construction activities.
  • Experience translating complex business requirements and data into actionable insights, recommendations and clear stakeholder communications.
  • Proven experience working with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance management to drive productivity and risk‑informed outcomes.
  • Experience engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders, managing competing priorities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
