About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to work for us in Keysborough. Your responsibilities will include;

  • Managing personnel in accordance with Zinfra policies, ensuring only personnel with appropriate skills and qualifications are employees/ assigned to carry out required tasks
  • Ensuring the ongoing performance management of the Metering and Servicing team and address performance issues in a timely manner
  • Provide guidance to enable the safe and timely delivery of connections and appointment work and in line with Client expectations and legislative requirements.
  • Consult and support counterparts to ensure resourcing ability enables the delivery of the entire works program (Pole to Pit/Public Lighting/Faults Emergency)
  • Ensuring delivery team captures and reports all relevant data from the field
  • Managing and motivate direct reports and indirect reports to ensure all work is delivered to the specified scope, time frame, allocated budget and quality
  • Ensuring that resource capability, skills sets and volume are able to service the forecasted work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensuring adequate management of internal resources, subcontractors and suppliers utilising Zinfra’s processes and procedures
  • Ensuring delivery team use relevant quality procedures and comply with Zinfra procedures
  • Ensuring the delivery is programmed efficiently to meet or exceed Zinfra and customer requirements

About you: 

  • Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs to ensure the effective delivery of work
  • Metering and Servicing focus, understand and interpret SIR’s and VESI documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Effective cost centre management within approved budget guidelines. This will also require the sharing of resources for capital projects and the achievement of the CAPEX & OPEX targets
  • Demonstrated competency in utilisation of resources and match the capability and capacity of the workforce and physical resources for the delivery of issued work.
  • Experience in planning or strategy
