About the role 

The Customer Projects Manager is responsible for leading and managing Customer Projects with the design, planning, negotiation, co-ordination and management of human, material and capital resources to provide a cost effective, quality service that meets key performance indicators and financial accountabilities of the business. 


Key Responsibilities include

  • Provide customer and non-customer cost estimates
  • Undertake monthly reporting requirements to ensure continual monitoring of financial performance including WIP, value earned, budget versus actual, forecasting
  • Provide advice and support to project team members in undertaking tasks and implementing project plans as required
  • Effectively liaise with customers, service providers and other authorities regarding contractual obligations and business objectives
  • Provide accurate customer information for general technical and supply
  • Ensure the overall project scope is adequately defined and that all contractual arrangements align with the agreed scope
  • Produce detailed designs of electrical distribution systems 
  • Ensure projects are settled and closed off in a timely manner to reduce Work In Progress (WIP) 

 

About You 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar co-ordinating role, managing connection of supply within electrical distribution industry 
  • Experienced in all aspects of the tendering process and contract administration 
  • Experienced in project management
