The Zinfra Projects and Infrastructure business is the trusted partner to deliver construction projects in Transmission Lines, Substations (Green and Brown field), Renewable energy storage and Green Gas infrastructure.

About the role: 

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Construction Manager to lead the safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of site‑based projects. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in line with contractual, commercial, and HSEQ requirements. With responsibility for managing internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, you’ll foster strong performance, clear communication, and a positive, values‑driven culture. You will play a key role in stakeholder engagement, supporting continuous improvement, mitigating project risks, and driving operational excellence across all phases of delivery.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing site personnel in line with company policies, ensuring all team members and contractors hold the required skills and qualifications.
  • Leading and supporting the team through continuous performance management, coaching, and development planning.
  • Forecasting resource requirements and managing operating costs to meet financial targets.
  • Overseeing site‑based project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Coordinating internal crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient resource allocation and workflow.
  • Maintaining strong commercial and risk management practices, including documentation, audits, and timely issue escalation.
  • Developing and strengthening stakeholder relationships through effective communication, reporting, and customer engagement.
  • Ensuring full compliance with OHS, quality, and environmental standards across all site activities.
  • Identifying business development opportunities and communicating them to operational leadership.

 

About you: 

To be selected for interview your resume should demonstrate A strong record of leading site‑based project delivery, developing high‑performing teams, and driving operational, financial, and safety excellence. Their background will demonstrate proven capability in stakeholder management, resource coordination, risk mitigation, and delivering complex works programs to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations while empowering teams and fostering a values‑driven culture.

Please highlight the below in your resume:

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi‑disciplinary site crews and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Proven success improving operational performance through structured reporting, continuous coaching, and measurable development planning.
  • A track record of maintaining exemplary safety standards, including implementing WHS requirements and conducting regular audits.
  • Experience analysing financial data, forecasting resource needs, and managing operating costs to meet commercial targets.
  • Demonstrated capability in building strong customer relationships, enhancing satisfaction through clear communication and consistent project visibility.
