About the role

We have an opportunity for a Leakage Survey Operator who is responsible for collecting air samples from vehicle mounted equipment across our Gas Distribution and Transmission assets in metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW.

The role requires considerable travel, solo driving and to work a nightshift roster from Sunday-Thursday.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Drive our vehicle and leak detection equipment along defined routes to complete survey activity across various Gas assets
  • Provide software and applications to record the conditions of our Gas assets
  • Maintain survey documentation, notifications and records
  • This position will require you to work across the entire network including, Sydney Metro, Greater Hunter, Illawarra, Canberra, ACT and country areas including Bathurst, Dubbo and Young

About You

This position will ideally suit someone who is a career driver and is willing to drive at night time 90% of the time with the occasional day shift. You will also possess the following:

  • A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving history
  • Experience driving a company vehicle to a scheduled roster
  • A proactive, professional and flexible approach to work
  • Time management and route planning skills
  • Experience working in the Gas industry is preferred but not essential
