About the role:
We are currently recruiting for Electrical and Civil Project Engineers to join our skilled team due to our expanding project portfolio in New South Wales and Queensland.
We are looking for experienced project delivery professionals, to lead the technical aspects across multiple areas in the project management framework. You will be exposed to projects at every phase from tender through to delivery.

Our Civil & Electrical Engineers are exposed to projects at every phase from tender through to delivery. Our projects, primarily involving civil, structural and electrical scope, include transmission lines and substations with project values typically ranging between $10M and $100M.
Working away is required when delivering projects - typical roster being 10 days on, 4 days off and 20 days on 8 days off depending on the project. Uplift is paid while working away as well as living away from home allowance (LAFA). We are seeking both permanent and fixed term contract employees (24 months). When submitting your application please indicate if your experience with high voltage assets is from a civil or electrical perspective and if you have a preference for a permanent or contract role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, health, safety and environmental management.
- Managing contracts, scope, procurement, risk and opportunity, stakeholder communications and project integration
- Organising and directing site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordination of site activities
- Helping to document the project scope
- Identifying and assisting with resolution of scope discrepancies
- Identifying scope gaps between sub and head contracts
- Collating data and compile upstream claims
- Compiling subcontract packages
- Maintaining site quality records and contributing to the development of QMP, ITPs, check sheets, MDR and NCR register
- Applying technical competencies in civil, structural, electrical or overhead lines disciplines to manage construction activities.
- Supporting pre-contracts Attending post tender interviews
- Compiling and reviewing subcontract packages
About you:
To be selected for interview please ensure your resume highlights degree qualification in a relevant subject & your experience a similar role either in the Utilities, Infrastructure or Construction industries particularly working on HV assets.
- Strong knowledge of PMBOK and understanding of how to deliver a project safely, on time, budget and to a high level of quality
- Experience in tendering, pre-contracts, and project delivery
- Confidence liaising with multiple stakeholders and the ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads & frequent changes in priorities
