About the role

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team in Thomastown to assist with planning and scheduling planned and corrective maintenance works across our Transmission and Distribution stations. This is a hybrid role with a mix of working in the office and WFH.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Creating Notifications, Work Orders and Work Completion Applications (WCA) in SAP
  • Ensure high level maintenance plans are established for the year and rolling works scheduled for the following 6-8 weeks
  • Assisting the delivery teams during fault response planning
  • Ensure works not completed or rescheduled are programmed back into the system
  • Prioritise critical works and plan them based on resource availability
  • Liaise with internal teams (fitters, testers, comms technicians, operators) to efficiently plan maintenance works
  • Liaise with external teams to integrate their schedule into our works program, ensuring no major impact to our maintenance activities
  • Managing conflicting priorities and seek advice as and when required
  • Establish good relations with various clients and seek advice / direction from internal or external stakeholders to remove bottlenecks in maintenance activities

About You

To be successful in this role you will be customer and safety focused and be able to make timely decisions. You will also possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work unsupervised
  • Ability to carry out accurate resolutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicting priorities
  • Basic knowledge / understanding of electrical assets in transmission / distribution stations (desirable but not essential)
