As a Senior Project Controller, you’ll bring deep expertise and a strong sense of purpose to support and elevate complex infrastructure projects across our portfolio.
This role is NSW based. The project - spread between Lithgow, Mudgee and Muswellbrook - is part of a leading power project in NSW and essential to the energy transition of the state. Whilst we support working from home as a standard, flexibility is expected with regular travel to the various project work fronts.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact—both technically and culturally.
- Take the lead on time and cost management across major electrical power projects, bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to a high-performing team.
- Deliver thoughtful, accurate project controls services—from scheduling and forecasting to reporting and system oversight.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships—supporting teams through governance, planning, and problem-solving with empathy and trust.
- Be a steady, solutions-focused voice—championing continuous improvement and inclusive practices that enhance project outcomes and team wellbeing.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who blends technical insight with emotional intelligence—someone who’s not just capable, but also kind, curious, and collaborative. You’ll bring:
- A strong background in engineering, construction, or project delivery
- Deep knowledge of time management, project controls, and contract administration
- Confidence with tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, Excel, and SAP
- A growth mindset, a love of learning, and a steady approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills—you know how to listen, guide, and lead with clarity

- Experience on site with HV substations or transmission line construction
- A track record of managing time and cost across complex infrastructure projects
- A collaborative approach that builds trust and supports performance
- Exposure to power, energy, infrastructure, or gas transmission sectors
- Strong commercial understanding and the ability to influence with integrity
