About the role

We’re seeking a new Senior Customer Works Coordinator who will be responsible for leading a scheduling team delivering customer-focused minor electricity infrastructure projects with efficiency and strict adherence to deadlines. This pivotal role ensures strong stakeholder engagement, accurate performance reporting, and effective resource and data management to achieve key operational targets. 

Key Responsibilities include

  • Fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture across the scheduling team.
  • Leading self and others to consistently apply safe, environmentally responsible work practices aligned with company standards.
  • Promoting knowledge sharing by encouraging open communication and mentoring to build team capability and resilience.
  • Facilitating clear, concise, and solutions-focused stand-ups to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Building strong customer relationships, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the connection and minor works process.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely issue resolution.
  • Preparing, analysing, and interpreting scheduling and delivery data to monitor team performance and identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer connections, minor works completion rates, and service level compliance.
  • Using data insights to inform decision-making, optimise resource allocation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with proven experience in customer-focused delivery within utilities or infrastructure sectors. They excel in managing high-volume programs, engaging stakeholders, and leading dispersed teams. Skilled in SAP systems, regulatory compliance, and issue resolution, they combine analytical thinking with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Delivering customer-focused initiatives and minor works within utilities or infrastructure sectors.
  • Successfully managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, KPI-driven environments under strict deadlines.
  • Building and sustaining strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Leading geographically dispersed teams to deliver minor works programs effectively.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar cloud-based platforms for scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Applying governance and regulatory knowledge relevant to electricity distribution.
  • Resolving customer issues professionally, including escalations and ombudsman pathways, to maintain service quality.
