About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Officer to join our team at our Tullamarine depot.

In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure field teams have the materials, equipment and support they need to deliver essential services safely and efficiently.

Working closely with colleagues, contractors, and clients, you'll play an important part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations while contributing to a positive and customer focused team environment.

  • Pick, receive and dispatch materials in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage material movements and inventory using SAP, ensuring accurate stock records, and reporting
  • Build positive working relationships with field crews, clients, and contractors to deliver responsive customer service
  • Record material usage and movements to support accurate job costing and inventory management
  • Operate plant and equipment safely while complying with relevant procedures and safe work practices
  • Participate in an on-call roster following training and when operationally required (typically one week in six)

About You

You are a reliable and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You bring experience in warehousing, stores, logistics or a similar environment, along with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and inventory or ERP systems such as SAP
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
  • Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and manage tasks independently
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (HR Licence advantageous)
  • High Risk Work Licence (Forklift)
