We’re seeking a Cathodic Protection Technician to join our Gas Transmission Operations team, supporting the protection and maintenance of critical gas infrastructure. This is a great opportunity to develop a highly specialised skillset in corrosion management, with long-term career potential across utilities, energy, and infrastructure.

Based out of Greystanes, this is a field-based role where you’ll manage your own workload and enjoy the autonomy to plan your day.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Deliver planned and corrective maintenance across pipeline assets
  • Carry out cathodic protection testing, monitoring, and inspections
  • Support commissioning of new infrastructure and upgrades
  • Conduct interference testing with external stakeholders
  • Investigate faults and assist with repairs (e.g. CP systems, transformers)

About You

  • Qualified Electrician or CP certification (NACE Level 1 minimum)
  • Understanding of cathodic protection systems, plant, and equipment
  • Basic knowledge of corrosion, electrical systems, or asset maintenance
  • Experience in industries such as oil & gas, utilities, mining, rail, or infrastructure
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and managing your own schedule
  • Current driver’s licence and White Card
